Yes in my dreams i was,for somr reason you cant get that out of your head,i have bills i can even pay,because my disability has been 6 months past hearing.I cannot even walk.You need to understand peoples dreams and real lif.I am barely making it back to radiation again because the first one didnt work.This Vacation was on what are you thinking today so i told you and you cant seem to leave it alone.Please know people before you start riding them.My situation not a good one but i have seen worse and better.I would hope everyone had a dream that might keep them going..Like i said i hurt to bad and have a blood disease cancer that is very rare.I cannot  even leave over 45 minutes from my hospital give to take a few minutes.I dont leave the house unless its radiation which is 5 days a week.I have to have a bone marrow transplant cheap huh?Before i can even get my calcium chemo i have to have bad teeth pulled which every tooth i have is infected or rotten,so i have to worry about that not somebody thinking im going on a beach vacation.! year ago i could of went wherever i  wanted to husband could work and made good money but things change in life overight he has to stay home with me to take care of me,getting up,food,washing cleaning etc.So yea im the one but i do wish you would quit being sarcatick every time i post.Thank you and have a good eveing.

Hi, Nancy. One thing you don't really mention is the "Good money after bad" syndrome. I paid $1,100 for my last root canal, only to have that tooth break off at the gumline while I was eating a slice of pizza. Then I had to pay an oral  surgeon $350 to remove what was left of that tooth!   $1,500 on a tooth I could have had pulled for $80! My sister has had dentures since her 30's. She's been trying to talk me into getting dentures for years. Well, she's right!  I've had it.  I'm done.  I will never get another root canal.  I have better things to do with $14,000 than spend it on root canals and crowns that will only go bad and have to be pulled eventually anyway. I want all of my teeth pulled. I want full dentures. Please tell me you can help me with this. Thank you!

This is a response to Nancy McGuire's post.  I sure hope she still comes to this website.  I just read her reponse to someone in need.  Wow, I feel recharged knowing that there are still people out there like Nancy.  She shows compassion and the help she offered was unbelieveable!  I know that you made that persons feel like they won the lottery.  I too feel I need to pull out the rest of my teeth and get dentures.  I have been up all night with pain from a very ill fitting bridge and many cavities still in my mouth after two dentists and 17,000.00 in loans.  I can't eat, sleep and I have not worked for months.  I also have RA so I have a double whammy.  I live in Madison Wi and can not get any assistant from the state.  They say our income is borderline, however we are financed over the hill and can not even afford my meds from month to month.  Nancy, if you are still out there, Thank you, for being you!  You are truly an angel from above.

you can go emergency room and get pain relief and antibotic, because it sounds like you may have abcess and it is very dangerous. they will treat you and sent you home. they cannot refuse to treat you

Any one with ideas or resources on low cost or even better free dentures, you could change me and my kids future. It has become impossible to find employment or be in any public situatuation that envolves speaking. It is hard to be taken seriously when the first question any thinks is "how did she get that way" or "Is she still on meth?". I am immediatly judged and verdict passed by the time I get a sentence out, if they even heard me cause they were staring at my one tooth! Would do work exchange or help someone in exchange, like paying forward with what I have to offer. I need to find a place that doesn't require employment or abuse as qualifications.

where do i find out about these "state papers" in my state

 I have had absolutely no luck in the fixing the teeth area....however, I do know that some states have "state papers" that are a temporary fix to the medical dental assistance issue, no disablity required.  However if your state does not have such a program, you may consider medicaid/Title 19, this is something you can qualify for if you have a child, and low-income, or if you have a disability of any kind....mental or physical.  You would be surprised by what is qualified as a disablility.  Another consideration is something called CAMA, which is insurance issued for chronic disabilities such as seizures.

Before you think about having all your teeth pulled, think about this.  You can get a 10 unit Bridge. As long as you have a tooth in the back to hook it up to on both sides you can get a bridge from one side of your mouth to the other.  It is far cheaper than getting posts when you find out the dentures aren't going to work for you.  So if you think you could go this route instead of the dentures contact me and I will tell you more. 

So many people are just suffering in pain waiting for their teeth to fall out or to win the lottery to get them done.  I blame this on the dentists that over charge and left these people with no hope.  If you want all your teeth pulled out I promise you my dentist will do the job for $30.00 to $60.00 a tooth.  But you will have to look at all the options first.  If the reason you want dentures is purely financial that is okay with us; but you have to know all the options from a dentist that doesn't overcharge to be fair to yourself.  We will talk to you about your dental needs and give you an estimate free of charge.

FREE AND LOW COST DENTAL ASSISTANCE

My hero which also doubles as my partner in life, needs dental work very urgently but cannot afford it. He is 42 years old and has not brushed his teeth in the 5 years I have been with him. In his early 20's he had an abcess tooth that he went to have work done on only to wake up 2 weeks later from the coma that apparently the poisons set him in to. As well as a coma, he had lock jaw and the dentist tried to pry his jaw open. Anyway, it hurt so badly to brush his teeth so he has not in 20 years. He wipes them and washes with mouthwash, but I am sure he now has a gum infection. He has no insurance and being a single white male there are no resources except for emergency extraction services, but this is only for 1 tooth at a time that is obviously in need of extraction. He needs 12 uppers pulled and a plate. He actually pulled out one of his front teeth by wiggleing it (it was bending as he tried to eat). He does have a job, he is a breakfast cook at a small cafe, although insurance is not provided and we cannot afford to buy it. I want so badley to find him help as he helped me and my son's 5 years ago. I have 2 teens sons and I was a meth addict, living in a filthy house, being a lousy "mother" and heading towards disaster fast. My hero, with all the bagage and risks involved, pulled us out of that life and provided us with a new life. My oldest son who was in juvy at the time is now a productive adult whom stays out of trouble and my youngest whom was placed in a behavioral glass because he refused to do any work is now an honor roll student that has a resume profile better than most people at the age of 30. I work from home but I only make enough money to help make ends meet. I work from home because as my hero taught me, kids do need the stabilty and presence of an adult. If there is any help available, please, please point me in the right direction. I have surfed the web and made so many phone calls and I do not know where else to turn.
